I have started chapter one, but this week I actually wrote chapter's 6 and 7, because I fully knew what I wanted to write and was excited to write them. The chapter numbers for those may change, depending on what else I write, but those are their approximate positions. I will not be releasing them until I write the previous chapters, unless you guys want me to.

It's been a while, and I have had no inspiration for writing Chapter 3, and found no way to make it sound interesting. Today I realized the problem. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 are a poor foundation to build Chapter 3 off of, so I have decided to rewrite them. I realized some ways I can make the story more compelling, and build the narrative better, so I will do that. I also decided to change a few characters a little bit, and focus more on the people that Michael meets than on the events themselves. I'm excited to show you the new Chapter 1 that should be coming soon!

Chapter 2 is out again! I proofread both chapters, and made sure my thoughts and sentences were consistent with each other. Chapter 3 will be coming soon. Enjoy!

I may end up adding some stuff onto the end of chapter 2 if I feel like the events between chapter 2 and the tournament aren't enough to fill a whole chapter. In that case, chapter 3 may take longer to come out, as I will need to learn how to write good combat scenes.

I wasn't happy with how my second chapter was written, and neither were the people reading it. I also realized that due to the long gap between me writing the first and second chapters, there were quite a few inconsistencies and things I hadn't made up my mind on.

I am implementing a new writing process to fix this. I will write the full chapter, then leave it unpublished for a few days. After coming back to it, I will edit it and release it if it seems good. This will cause more delay between updates on the book, but it will result in higher quality overall.

Also, I am now writing down my ideas and the timeline of events on a storyboard ahead of time so I can make sure I keep details straight and consistent. As always, feel free to give feedback on everything I release. Thanks!

I hadn't been on since May 7th, until today. I had forgotten about wattpad, and writing my story here, until I got an email notification about a new follower. I will now try to post more often, and continue updating my story from what's already been written in my mind.
