I’m unpublishing my story until it’s done, that way I can just do all the updates at once and not worry about updating once or twice a week, if that makes any sense :)

I think I might just take the SMP characters out of the story and just make it a Minecraft story instead. What do you think?

Hi

I ended up deciding that the fan fiction I was writing could be too invasive of one of the IRL character’s boundaries, and I want to respect them, so I will probably not be publishing it. I need some advice on this, and since you’ve written plenty of works involving dsmp characters, I figured you’d be the best person to go to :)

The character I’m worried about is Ranboo. The story was originally going to be a xreader or xOC fanfic where Ranboo and the main character became friends and ended up together (strictly platonic, though). After giving it some space and coming back to it after a while, I changed the idea so that the OC/reader would have a separate love interest, since I know that Ranboo isn’t really comfortable with xreader/xOC fanfiction. I’m worried this will still be too invasive, though, because the OC and Ranboo become friends over Twitch in the story, and I’ll have to write dialogue for him, which kind of feels a little weird, in a way. I honestly don’t know if the story would invade his boundaries if there was an OC/reader character who had a love interest who wasn’t him. Doing the right thing in this case really matters to me, because I want to be respectful of his right to privacy as a human being. What is your take on this?

Apologies for the long paragraph. :/

Please let me know what you think! Your input matters a lot to me.
