Lol, your thoughts are well appreciated. In all honesty, I don’t think this is too much of a cliche as your thoughts are proposing. Think of it this way: there are about 7 billion people in the world, so it’s safe to assume that any ideas that seem “creative” to an individual have already been thought of by someone else. Even in movies there are some concepts that are similar to other movies; therefore, there will be overarching concepts like Natsu being an asshole or Lisanna being a bitch, but the “creative” sense is portrayed by who the characters change or what they do to repent for their misdoings. If I recall correctly, I don’t think I made Lisanna out to be a bitch, she’s actually a friend of Lucy in this book, but again that has been used by many other writers. In the end, this is how I perceive your thought. It’s just my side of this conversation. I do apologize if this seems hostile, I had not intention to make it seem that way and I completely see your side.
