I'm A Christian girl who struggles with anxiety. I LOVE writing! My brain comes up with so much stuff that I don't and can t put it all down most of the time! I try my best to handle my anxiety but like everyone, I fail. Being scared is SO EASY! But being brave is harder. I know that fact so well.
My favorite Bible Verse as of now is Mathew 14:31 (read the context to that verse!)
"And he immediately reached out his hand and grabbed hold of him and said to him, 'O you of little faith why did you doubt?'" Its my favorite because it reminds me that if I just ask, my Lord, God, my father, he will come and be there by my side, ever step of the way. This verse has helped me so much with my anxiety so I wanted to share it.
Another is the song "Lord have your way in me" By Katey Nichole (this is off the top of my head btw). I've often prayed the lyrics and it gives me peace afterwards, not immediately but subtle. I didn't realize it until someone told me I was more relaxed than normal.
Jesus died for us on that cross. Don't let his gift go to waste.
(Another interest of mine is ASL, I am hearing and currently learning the language, but so far I love it and want to continue learning more!)
