@josiecat10 Oh, my God. Is this what my wall is for? Like you don't know what a pm is...
First of all, only about 4% of rapes actually end up in pregnancies. But, as I've said before, you can prevent a possible pregnancy AFTER the act in approximately five different ways WITHOUT killing a life. Seeing as the conception may take up to 5-6 days, a simple morning after pill will freeze up your egg and prevent a baby. Out of this percentage, many have a miscarriage due to trauma, either the mother's, or the baby's.
Abortions can seriously ruin someone's life. One of the main reasons I'm so against it is because I had a friend, Amy. I was in freshman year, she was a sophomore. She was raped and three months later found out she was pregnant. She said the same thing as everyone else: it's just a bag of tissue, I'm only in school, it'll ruin my life, etc. So she had an abortion.
A month later she committed suicide by crushing half a bottle of pain killers and putting them in her daily water bottle. She was alone, seeing as her parents were on vacation. They didn't find it her till three days later. She actually left a note, apologizing for what she'd done, but saying that she couldn't get over what SHE had done. So not what happened, but her choice.
The anniversary of her death is July 1st. I visit her every year.
Congratulations, miss @josiecat10, you've managed to ruin my morning.
