            Yeah, I see what you mean about Bardock not having much of an impact on the timeline as a whole just yet (as I've been giving a little more spotlight to Goku & Vegeta for a bit), but I do have big plans for Bardock.
            
            "I just don’t want him to be random commentary like I see so many other fanfics do and he can actually contribute to the story." There was a Reddit post I saw once, when I was looking up people's complaints on the Moro arc: "They should've let the other Z fighters actually contribute and not be jobbed by Goku once he shows up." The team more or less just commentated as Goku fought Moro and his guys in the manga, so I intend to show more involvement from the others in my version, including from our boi.

@Cyberpolaris Ah I gotcha, sorry about the misunderstanding.
            
            I guess there’s a few things I can say. I miss the references or lack of frequency I guess. If I go back to some of the earlier chapters there’s a lot more references and now there’ll be one if any that I notice. (It could also mean I’m just bad at reference finding) It could help that you don’t have to reference DB specifically but you could do random references like Vegeta being a Sonic fan for instance. The other ‘complaint’ that I have is that there’s not much payoff of Bardock’s actions just yet but I have a feeling that’ll be fixed when the prisoners come to earth. I know it doesn’t make sense logically just yet for Bardock to be on par with Goku but there’s still so much of the world to explore and there’s still the hyperbolic time chamber to fall back on in case he’s not powerful enough. I just don’t want him to be random commentary like I see so many other fanfics do and he can actually contribute to the story. Just take my advice with a grain of salt and keep writing what you want to write. 

@iMosc1 "Fire away, lemme hear what you got and I’ll let you know what I think." Oh sorry, I kinda worded that wrong. I meant is there anything that bugs you so far about it? Like, maybe there’s too much of a certain thing happening or maybe there’s not enough of something else?

@Cyberpolaris thanks bud, maybe I’ll actually get around to writing chapter five at some point.

It’s probably higher ranked because it’s also a MHA-themed fic, and they get a ton of attention on this site. Also I took a look at your fic and honestly, the writing is good. Not as bad as you think! I don’t know much about MHA but the interactions are written well.

I just realized, I have my own Bardock fanfic and somehow it’s higher ranking than yours. I literally do not know how the writing is dookie.
