I enjoy Science Fiction, Fantasy, and (very, very few) fanfiction. It all depends on the grammar, romance, action, and what they author is basing the story off of.
I'll work mostly with SciFi and fantasy, maybe one fanfiction every now and then, but that's very unlikely.
My favorite SciFi genre is Cyberpunk and Space Opera (like Star Wars).
