Hey all, I'm still alive. Work has been very hectic lately so I'll start posting things again once it quiets down a bit. I have an idea or three about a new story so once I get the idea more fleshed out in my head I'll start penning it here. Hope everyone had a great holiday season.

OK so after doing some review, I've noticed I flip between 3rd person POV and 1st person POV depending on the chapter. I should probably make the book all one POV. Any opinions?

@CylliniaResident i'll just have to think on it. Some.of the third pov gets.kinda confusingly wordy.

@CylliniaResident Then again, such parts could be reworded to better suit 3rd person, as I just spent the last half-hour doing. Still, saying X POV is utterly and completely cliche and should be avoided at all costs. Heck, they should make it a disqualifier for the Watty's...

@CylliniaResident Some passages don't work as well in 3rd person, for example, when Max wondered what would have happened had he not investigated the warehouse that day. It's a lesson I learned the hard way when I edited Chapter 1 of TOKC to be third-person: the parts where Sean Hooke is dealing with the horror of lycanthropy befalling him lost its oomph, making it feel cheap. As always, I suggest sticking to the form you have, separating 1st and third-person with dividing lines and not listening to the naysayers who are not used to the method without an utterly cliché "X POV" intro.

So, everyone, I took a wild hair and submitted Lost Clans (Only the first 4 or 5 chapters) to a writing contest and won 2nd place. Their only main critique was that I have a tendency to swap POV some so you guys, if you have time, lend a hand and help me find where I'm swapping POV so much. I'd really appreciate it! ALSO! I am working on the final chapter of Lost Clans now. It should be out soon and the saga of Mr. Maxwell may come to a close... Maaaaybe... >.> Who knows...

            Also, could you link us the review? And yes, you do have a tendency to switch POV a lot, thougb it's not characters so much as perspective.

I'm still alive everyone! Life has been very hectic lately and work is killing me, BUT, I am still working on the story. I'm still trying to decide the best way to end the book as well. Feel free to PM me with ideas lol. I have so many possible endings in my head.
