Hello fellow book nerds! Welcome to my profile! You obviously came here to learn a little about me so I will do my best to fill you in on my pretty ordinary life. :) 

I am a mommy of two boys and a wife to the best hubby in the world! (Sorry ladies, I'm sure your hubbies are great too, but I don't know them!) My kids are pretty awesome too. I am the proud parent of a marching band trumpet player and also the proud parent of a child with hydrocephalus. My oldest, Jacob has been in band for the past three years, this year being his first year to march. He loves it! It is his passion as books are mine! Not to toot my own horn, or his for that matter, but he's one of the best trumpet players of his age for miles and miles. He's won plenty of medals to prove this fact. 

I also have a younger son named Kaleb. Kaleb is awesome too, but for different reasons. He's our little hydro-hero! He has hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and a shunt to help it all flow evenly. He's a little trooper, going through symptoms and surgery like it was nothing. We are so proud to call him our son! 

I have many dreams, sometimes up to three or four a night, but I also have goals too! One of my longest goals is to become a published author. I'm not concerned with selling millions of books or anything like that. I just want to be able to pull my book off of my shelf and say "I wrote this." How many people can say they wrote a novel? 

My hobbies include reading (duh! :)), writing, crocheting, and animal activism. I have a huge passion to help animals, no matter what kind they are. I support no kill shelters, banning of factory farms, banning animal research, and banning fur trades.
