As far back as I can remember, I've been listening to exciting stories told by my mom. I grew up reading books from Edgar Allan Poe, H. P. Lovecraft, and Philip K. Dick, among others. 

It was my mother who inspired me to start telling-and writing-my own stories. 

My writing career started after a handicap in 2014-I have a tremor in my right hand, numbness in the fingers, and pain in my wrist. I had to give up my other creative outlets, such as photography, computer programming, and gave up on juggling, so focused on what I could do rather than what I couldn't do. 

Besides writing, I sometimes plays guitar-in Jimi Hendrix style. 
I lives with my husband and pet rabbit Max in Amsterdam.
