I apologize for this being on such short notice but I will no longer be active in this account or any roleplays in the future. I have decided to focus more on my education because I feel like it will be much harder for me to become a large animal veterinarian if I don’t start my studies now in life. Can someone please give me advice?
          
          Okay so I'll be starting a summer job and I will be working with kids. I am better with working with the kids who are like in the elementary grades like kindergarten - 6th grade but one day I might be assigned to work with the preschool kiddos for the day. Working with kids around toddler age, maybe a year older than the toddler age, is not my strong suit. Like if one starts crying I have no idea what to do.
          
          Does anybody have any advice on that? I'm desperate.

That is basically my job! I babysit little ones. So if they do start crying, you need to figure out the reason, are they hungry? Hurt? Tired? Or even just getting frustrated. With toddlers you want to sit and ask them what’s wrong and why are they crying? When they tell you the reason tell them okay, and explain to them communicating is a lot better then crying because you can help out faster and easier. Keep calm and collected while you do this. That is how I do it and it usually works!
