DALEMPOLLOCK

I try to watch the widest variety of movies possible. I see whatever I can (and can afford!) in the theater, including the $2 cinemas, then I have a Netflix stream and a Netflix DVD plan. I almost never quit watching a film. It has to be truly horrible for me to give up. I feel if the people who made it worked that hard, they at least deserve for me to finish it. I do watch several films that I don't write about, either because I don't have anything particularly interesting to say about it, or because I usually watch 12 movies a week and can only write about 7 max. Finally, I do sometimes watch a movie I wouldn't have seen otherwise, like THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, because I wanted to review it. I also do radio and TV reviews in my local market in North Carolina and they want me to do the commercial reviews. Thanks so much for reading my posts!

How would I contribute to radio or TV reviews in the UK?

I am curious to know if you have any criteria for selecting the movies you watch and review, and if:
          1. You start watching a movie and you get bored and discontinue. Or
2.You watch a movie and you don't feel like writing a review for it
          3. You watch a movie to write a review for it, although you don't enjoy watching it that much.

Thanks for checking out my blog. I try not to write just for the cinema crowd, but to make my posts as accessible as possible. If you want to see the entire archive of my reviews, go to my website at dalempollock.com, and you can also see the films I produced.

Thank you for following me. I am going to check out your Movie A Day Blog. I don't know that much about the art of creating film, but for two years I've attended a college student film festival Portland, Maine and find them fascinating (and weird!) One student film this year was so B horror movie, you could see the string moving the fake plastic snake! I haven't decided if that was ironic and on purpose or a mistake.
