kodiak was sprinting as fast as he could towards his job . he really couldn’t believe it — , sure , he had been late before , but . . never THIS late in his life . by now , he was for sure that his boss would fire him & get a new & better working employee than he was . . not to mention the type that is never late , but early or even ON TIME .
his mind had never been in such huge state of panic before , it was sort of new . it must’ve been so much , to the point he had bumped into some people along the way as he was running . but there was one he bumped into the hardest , causing him to fall . he frantically got up & looked at the other , " oh god ! i’m super sorry — ! "

/ sorry bout inactivity. i’ll be in virginia for three days

maika was hanging out with friends before she quickly lost track of time , it was late , and everyone else had left because they assumed she had a ride home . unfortunately , when she texted who was picking her up ; her sister , she didn’t answer . then she waited for about thirty minutes , and nobody had showed up . maika texted her to meet at the cafe at the 24 hour cafe near her . she hoped she would arrive when she got there .
maika ran through the streets , heading to the 24 hour open cafe at the end of the street . It was late and she was honestly scared of the people out late at night . she ran as the sky became darker , and saw the lights of the cafe glinting . she darted inside , out of breath . upon catching her breath , she looked for a place to sit down , all seats were taken except for one .
maika quickly walked over to him , awkwardly asking , “ hey uhm , mind if i sit here ? ”

@DARKFUMES maika flattened her hair , or at least tried to but it still wasn’t perfectly flat . she decided to give up of fixing herself since the male didn’t seem to try with what they were wearing . maika was wearing a her hair down like always , a vintage purple grandpa style sweater , and her favourite pair of mom jeans . she also had on a pair of black converse . when hearing a positive response from the male , she sat down across from him . she was going to whip out her phone to text her sister yet again , but interacting sounded more interesting . “ oh , well , its kind of a long story , ” she warned , if he wanted to hear it though , of course she would tell him .

@SM0KIING / it's perfect dw about it! it was another sleepless night full of toss and turns, so rather than wasting time loitering around in bed, cameron decided to spend some time at the 24-hour cafe. cameron had no plans on meeting anyone tonight, especially not a complete stranger. with no plans, cam was found adorned in a dark, heavy sweater and hair which screamed bedhead. however, his plans would soon meet a large detour, for a girl was standing in front of him asking for a seat. cam looked up from his phone to meet the voice, his face wore a light frown due to his unpresentable clothes and hair. nonetheless, cam offered her a small smile, "seeing as i don't own this cafe, sure why not?" "and if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing out this late?"
