Steps and Spurs: Back to His Roots

After making their relationship official, Skylar Rivera leaves the rush of city life behind for the wide-open skies of Texas — where A.J.’s country roots, family traditions, and slower way of living shape every step.

But Texas moves to a different rhythm.

          	Boots replace ballet flats.
          	Backroads replace busy streets.
And Skylar finds herself learning to two-step, line dance, and trust the steady hands of the country boy who stole her heart.

A.J. is in his element — patient, playful, and determined to show his city girl that love doesn’t have to be flashy to be real. Sometimes it’s found in sunset rides, small-town nights, and dancing under string lights.

✨ Because once, standing hand in hand, she whispered:
“If this were a movie, this would be the ending scene.”
          	And he smiled.
“Good thing it’s not… I’m just getting started.”

          	Two worlds fell in love.
Now they have to learn how to live in one.

Hi everyone

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you so much for 5.1K reads and 81 votes on Unknown Mafia Sister. When I first started writing it, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. Seeing those numbers grow has been such a surreal and emotional experience for me.

Even if most of the support is quiet, I still see it — and I appreciate it. I may not get a lot of comments or messages, but every time the reads go up or I see another vote come in, it reminds me that people are still reading, still interested, and still supporting the story. That means more to me than you probably realize.

Writing isn’t always easy. There are moments where I question myself or wonder if anyone really cares about the characters the way I do. But knowing that over 5,000 people have clicked on this story and 81 of you took the time to vote? That’s not small to me. That’s huge.

I’ve been thinking about possibly continuing the story with a second book. I have ideas, I have plans, and I’d love to explore more of this world and these characters. But before I start working on it, I really want to know if that’s something you’d want. So please, even if you’re usually a silent reader, let me know this time.

Thank you again for being here, for reading, and for supporting me — even quietly. It truly doesn’t go unnoticed, and I’m so grateful for every single one of you. ✨
