So I may try crossposting Breath of Life between Royal Road and Wattpad. I'm starting to feel like the story isn't on the right platform for what it is.
          
          A lot of Wattpad's content is romance. While Breath of Life has some of those elements, it's heavier on tragedy and more friend and family dynamics than actual romance. It's also a dark fantasy, so that might scare people away. Especially the end of part 1.
          
          I'll still update part 1 as edits are, but like Royal Road, parts 2-4 are going to be published as a physical book.
          
          I appreciate people reading my story, and it will remain on wattpad for anyone to view.

I have no control over my perfectionism. Part 1 has been revised again. 
          
          Much better, though. Most of it has been tightening dialogue and fixing some scenes that appeared a bit cheesy to me.
          
          As for NaNoWriMo, I managed to write about 10,000 words not relating to Breath of Life. If I do count BoL it goes up to about 30,000. A ton of lore development happened, one of the biggest being the major religion of the book being more fleshed out.
          
          If anyone sees me editing part 1 again please grab the nearest wooden spoon and clock me right in the head, please. It helps more than it hurts.

Part 2 is starting to develop further. I have to actively stop myself from wanting to re-edit part 1 for the fifth time.
          
          Part 1 needs work. It's messy. But I need to keep moving forward.

Starting in November, I'm going to be participating in NaNoWriMo 2024.
          
          I won't be involved with NaNoWriMo officially, but I'm going to try to write a 50,000 anthology that takes place in the same world as Breath of Life. It'll likely remain private until book one of Breath of Life is released, but I might also just release it in it's entirety here.
          
          Being able to write something new while editing Part 2 might be a bit challenging,  but I'm down for it.

It's been a month.
          
          With work and personal issues, I haven't been able to look at my writing accounts. The good news is I never stopped writing.
          
          Breath of Life is now reaching nearly 30 chapters. Part 1 (The first 15 chapters) has changed so much that the Wattpad edition of the story is no longer fully accurate. The same story beats happen, but there's the addition of another arc that spans the entire book.
          
          Today, and likely for the rest of the week, there will be changes to each chapter to reflect the revisions made. Some chapters are relatively untouched, but I can't say the same for all of them.
          
          Thank you for reading my story, and I appreciate any feedback good or bad. It was that feedback that helped tremendously, both in real life and online.

Update: Breath of Life's progression has changed a ton since I last updated it on Wattpad.
          The first 15 chapters are slow and boring in some places, and I'm moving future chapters to the beginning to try and fix it with a change of pace.
          
          It'll add a new character and new locations between Roy's chapters to change the setting so it's not the same thing for all of part 1.

I'm fumbling through new covers for Breath of Life, the first iteration is cool but it was brought to my attention that the boy on the cover might make readers think Roy is a toddler.
          
          So not gonna go with that one.
