Ok, so when I first read the book title, I thought the book was going to be about an alpha and his human mate. If u want to write a book about that I suggest you spice it up a bit. So many werewolf books r the same and it's getting boring. For once, how about we have the girl not be a helpless little human. How about we have her be a strong werewolf with lots of wit and a brain to die for. She could be smart and strong and sassy and sarcastic, and overall very likable.
The alpha mate could be the sweet one for once. Sexy, but still sweet. Strong, protective, but not a cocky of a dickhead like most alphas are. He could be nice, caring, and overall a great person.
So once they meet, however you want them to meet, they could instantly click. Like, they're really drawn together and like each other very much. But that's it. Although they're destined to be mates they can't seem to grow any feelings romantic for each other. They're happy being close friends.
Now comes the conflict.
Conflict #1- Both of their pacts need the two to be together so they can end the never-ending feuded between them.
Conflict #2- A dangerous group of hybrid humans are rising up and killing off the werewolves and no one seems to know whose doing it.
Conflict #3- Grace and her alpha mate are being blackmailed by a stranger, threatening them to hand over the very crystal that's kept werewolves hidden from humans for over a thousand years.
All this, while the two are still trying to sort out their feelings for one another.
Does that sound interesting? It's different from all the cliché werewolf books I've read before. I'm sure it would attract much attention.
