I'm  the author of Conflicted Hearts - A Daughter's Quest for Solace From Emotional Guilt,  Meno-What? - A Memoir, Words We Carry, and Have Bags, Will Travel. 
I am a nonfiction writer of memoirs about my life experiences, matters of the heart and women's issues. You will find many of my blog posts written on same subjects as well as on health issues and writing.

I began writing when pen and paper became tools to express my pent-up emotions during a turbulent childhood. My writing began as notes and cards I wrote for the people  I loved and admired when I was afraid to use my voice.

Through the years, I journaled about life, writing about my opinions on people and events.  Against many odds, I have overcome adversity several times throughout my life.

I began writing books a few years ago to share my stories and inspiration. 
I always look for the good and the positive in everything. I believe in paying it forward. For every kindness, there should be kindness in return. Wouldn't that just make the world right?

When I'm not writing, I'm reading. My favourite genres of reading are: biographies, memoirs, writing and natural health.
 I love to read about people who overcome adversity, victories and redemption. I believe we have to keep learning-there is always room for improvement!
