Hi Readers,
          
          Chapter 42 will be published tomorrow! I’ve been working very hard on this chapter. It’s the one that I’ve been waiting to share with you all for so long. So much has lead up to this moment and I can’t wait for you all to read it!
          
          I believe there will only be a chapter (or 2) left as we are now officially nearing completion. I will be continuing to edit and make subtle changes before marking it complete. I intend on submitting it for the Watty’s once I get a new book cover made (without the use of AI).
          
          I want to thank you all for reading this story over the last year as I have been publishing each chapter. Your support has meant everything to me. 
          
          I wanted to tell a story of two people from very opposite worlds coming together and finding love. In the end, a lot of my characters in “Where Horses Run Free” have found love and that’s a beautiful thing.
          
          I hope this story, if anything, teaches you to have an open mind when it comes to finding love. Everyone is deserving of love. Whether it’s love from family or a romantic kind of love, I hope love finds you and gives you comfort when you need it.

Hi Readers,
          
          I will be doing edits of my existing chapters as well as finishing up writing the next chapter. There might be some subtle changes and additions.
          
          One change is that Momma was initially in her 90’s. She is certainly not that old. Maybe in her 60’s at most. 
          
          Any other major changes, I will let you know. However, the major plot should not change.

          Just logged in to see that “Where Horses Run Free” has reached 7,000 reads!! Wow!! Thank you all for reading and following along as I near the final chapters of the story.
          
          Chapter 41 entitled “Snapshot” was a rather difficult one to write. It took me nearly 3 weeks to complete. Without spoiling this chapter, it was inspired by a photoshoot that I had once with a horse. 
          
          I have begun writing the next chapter. I am forewarning you all that it may be a difficult read.

          Once again, I needed extra time to write Chapter 41. This part of the story has been tough for me to write lately as the story progresses. It’s been hard coming up with a direction to go with as we near the end.

          Here is the chapter that you all have been waiting for… Chapter 40 entitled “Decision” in Renée’s POV.
          
          I had been writing this chapter in my head for many months. Just as Renée was undecided about what to do regarding her relationship with Denny and her job back in New York now that she is nearing the end of her time at the ranch, I was very undecided about how I should write it as well. Taking a vacation, cleared my head and made me think more clearly. When I saw all of the horses on vacation, it really gave me inspiration. It’s amazing how just a change in environment can give you answers that you have been searching for. After I came home, the words just flowed out.
          
          What are your thoughts about her “decision?”

Hi Readers,
          
          I apologize for the delay on Chapter 40. I was on vacation in Florida! Meanwhile, I got some more inspiration while I was out there. I saw a lot of horses! Turns out a lot of retired race horses end up retiring in Florida. I saw several different kinds of ranches. I saw one that somewhat looked like what I had envisioned for Circle A Ranch. 
          
          This chapter is going to be a little bit of a filler chapter, but I hope that you all like it!
          
          It should be published by Friday evening!

          Sorry I uploaded this chapter a day late! Completely slipped my mind.
          
          Chapter 39 is titled “Momma.” Momma has always been a bit of a complex character to me. She has a bit of grit, but she also cares deeply. The ranch and her family legacy means everything to her. In this chapter, we learn more about the rough dynamic in her marriage and realize what makes her a rough and sometimes difficult person to be around. We finally see her break down her walls a little bit and be vulnerable with Renée. 
          
          Also, Renée has important decisions to make. Her and Denny have been avoiding talking about it for quite a while. Next chapter will be a big one!

          It just occurred to me that I have officially been writing this story for over a year now! It’s amazing that some of you have been with me since the first chapter. I certainly notice who votes every week and it is heartwarming. Thank you! 
          
          I think at times, we have all thought that we were invincible. This chapter focuses in on that and brings us all down to earth. We are all humans. We are all imperfect. But that’s okay! There are still people that love us despite our imperfections.
