Hi Everyone!

How are you all? I am still not over the fact that I am finished writing my first novel! Now my nightly routine has been brainstorming ideas and creating a narrative in my brain. I feel like one of my ideas is beginning to reveal itself more to myself. It’s just a matter of putting pen to paper and seeing where it goes from there.

I am hopeful that I can deliver something to you soon. I greatly look forward to it!

Meanwhile, I do hope you consider giving my story “Where Horses Run Free” a read and voting for the chapters! It is submitted to The Watty’s this year! I am hoping to make the short list and your support as a reader would mean so much to me!

          Happy Reading,
          D.K.

Hello Readers!

As you may notice, I have updated the cover of “Where Horses Run Free.” I made it myself without any use of AI. Although I love the cover with Renée and Denny, I wanted to change it in order to better comply with The Watty’s guidelines.

Thanks for your understanding and your support!

Please don’t forget to vote on the chapters! It means a lot to me, especially now that it is submitted to the Watty’s.

          Thank you,
          D.K.

Dear Readers,

It is hard to believe that “Where Horses Run Free” is finally finished! The final chapter and epilogue have been published.

It took 15 months to write my first full-length novel and so many of you were there from the beginning! It hasn’t sunk in yet for me that it’s finished.

As for what’s next? I’m not sure yet. I’m waiting for a new idea or inspiration. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later! My nightly routine always involves writing, so I look forward to bringing a new story to you very soon.

I will be submitting it to the Watty’s very soon! I’m so excited! I will be doing some more proofreading and revisions to perfect the story.

So tell me, what are your thoughts on “WHRF?” I’d love to hear your feedback!

Also, if anyone is handy with graphic design, I’d love to find somebody that makes good cover art without the use of AI.

Thank you all for reading and voting!

Thanks for going on this wild ride with me. ❤️

          Happy Reading,
          D.K.

Chapter 43 of “Where Horses Run Free” will be published this Friday! It will conclude this story that I have worked on for almost a year and a half!

I don’t want it to end, but every story must have an ending!

Thank you for all of your wonderful support! ❤️

I hope to bring you more stories in the future!

          Happy Reading,

Hi Readers,

Chapter 42 will be published tomorrow! I’ve been working very hard on this chapter. It’s the one that I’ve been waiting to share with you all for so long. So much has lead up to this moment and I can’t wait for you all to read it!

I believe there will only be a chapter (or 2) left as we are now officially nearing completion. I will be continuing to edit and make subtle changes before marking it complete. I intend on submitting it for the Watty’s once I get a new book cover made (without the use of AI).

I want to thank you all for reading this story over the last year as I have been publishing each chapter. Your support has meant everything to me.

I wanted to tell a story of two people from very opposite worlds coming together and finding love. In the end, a lot of my characters in “Where Horses Run Free” have found love and that’s a beautiful thing.

I hope this story, if anything, teaches you to have an open mind when it comes to finding love. Everyone is deserving of love. Whether it’s love from family or a romantic kind of love, I hope love finds you and gives you comfort when you need it.

          I love you all.

Thank you for reading and voting!

          Happy Reading,

@LatinaVivaAT Hi there! Thank you for reading!

How I portrayed Denny was very important to me. It always seemed funny to me how some people either want him to suddenly be able to walk again or have something even more tragic happen to him than what already did. My goal was to portray him as somebody who is strong-willed, confident, and relatable for those who use a wheelchair.

Thank you for reading! Stay tuned for the final chapter this Friday… and maybe a little bonus chapter!

@ DKSanocki Thanks for this story. I love the way how it brings together the entire family in the end without being too much of a soap opera. I also love that there is no miracle of walking again. Looking forward to the 1-2 missing chapters.

Also, WHRF has officially be labeled as “Mature” due to some of its sexual nature- as well as depictions of violence and alcohol usage. I feel that it is necessary that my story only be read by a mature audience. Thank you for your support.

Hi Readers,

I will be doing edits of my existing chapters as well as finishing up writing the next chapter. There might be some subtle changes and additions.

One change is that Momma was initially in her 90’s. She is certainly not that old. Maybe in her 60’s at most.

Any other major changes, I will let you know. However, the major plot should not change.

          Thanks for reading!!

Hi Readers,

Just logged in to see that “Where Horses Run Free” has reached 7,000 reads!! Wow!! Thank you all for reading and following along as I near the final chapters of the story.

Chapter 41 entitled “Snapshot” was a rather difficult one to write. It took me nearly 3 weeks to complete. Without spoiling this chapter, it was inspired by a photoshoot that I had once with a horse.

I have begun writing the next chapter. I am forewarning you all that it may be a difficult read.

Love you all and thank you for voting and giving my story so much love.

          Happy Reading,

Hi Readers,

Once again, I needed extra time to write Chapter 41. This part of the story has been tough for me to write lately as the story progresses. It’s been hard coming up with a direction to go with as we near the end.

I want to make sure it’s perfect before publishing it. I need a few more days to fix my revisions.

Thank you for always being patient with me and I hope to publish it in the coming days!

          -DK.
