As a high school English teacher, I have read thousands, not a hyperbole, of students' essays, poems, and short stories.   My children are grown, and self-sufficient, sort of, rent is outrageous.   I finally gave myself permission to direct my attention to my own aspirations of becoming a published author.   Murder in Mohegan Lake is my debut novel.
