Since 1948, the Palestinian people have been going through this, and it has been going on for 75+ years (SEVEN DECADES). America has continued to use our tax money to fund multiple genocides (Including Congo, Yemen, Sudan, Armenia, and more) for decades now. With the creation of social media culture, we need to speak up to help them and show them that we aren’t listening to their BS anymore. One thing to remember is that this isn’t a “religious war.” Palestinian Christians and Palestinian Jews are affected by this as well, including Jewish people who speak up against Israel and their BS. Hamas are terrorists who were funded and trained by Israel and the U.S. before they backtracked (I hope that more people learn that knowledge) and are not helping the Palestinian cause. They do not represent my point of view, and also remember that most Palestinians do not support them but cannot speak up about that.
I know that Palestinians have said and continue to say that they want us to speak up for them in any way we can. So please do your research from unbiased perspectives instead of following the media; going to a protest and boycotting from the BDS list would greatly help, and please do more than use social media if you have the resources to do so. They are not afraid of a simple tweet because if they were, none of this would continue.
One last thing: please let go of the idea that a celebrity will stop governments from committing global atrocities; it’s not realistic because they do not care about their or your perspective. They care about the money instead of our well-being, but I understand that using their platform can help reach others.
