2 Corinthians 12:8-9
8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

Like the Apostle Paul, I ask God why it happened to me. Why do I have to suffer through such a shameful process, or to be direct, experience Bipolar Disorder? I begged Him to take it away from me and heal me completely.

After years of battling, I have learned to be grateful and have finally embraced it as a part of my life. It has been a humbling experience that has led me to continually seek Him and depend on His grace every single day of my life.
