I am lady of 'certain years' who enjoys writing. I have a website about cats which is just over 10 years old. Last year it was shortlisted and came 3rd out of 5 being the only English website - the other 4 were all American. The title was for the best cat website in the world. Coming third was wonderful!  

I currently have 2 1/2 cats - two live with me and the '1/2' is a stray who hasn't made up his mind if he's going to make a permanent thing of things. He comes, he eats, he sleeps, he goes - sounds like a lot of ex-boyfriends I've known in my life!!!

I'm writing a book about my journey of living with leukaemia. I was diagnosed with AML in June 2006 and life was very difficult - and tenuous - for about 2 years. Amazingly I pulled through, and even more amazingly, I met my soul mate. I was almost 58. Who knew that getting leukaemia would be the gateway to finding love!

At the moment, I'm revamping Ollie's Diaries (which appear on my website) to put them into a better format in the hope of getting them published. 

I live in Kent, in England; I have 2 sons, and 3 grandchildren - oh and a wonderful life partner who is head and shoulders above any other man I've ever known (that's partly because he's so nice, and partly because he's 6' 2" tall!)
