To celebrate, they all, including the Coleman/Reyes Family attend Ella's and Pink Slip's holiday concert at the Wiltern where Anna still plays lead guitar. Anna thanks the crowd and wishes them happy holidays.
          After the concert, Kevin finds his mom, who reveals that his family also knew his location and were staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel. He happily reunites with them and opens gifts on Christmas morning. But Kevin's heart is with his new friends. He goes alone to the Coleman-Reyes house to wish them a merry Christmas. "Merry Christmas, Coleman-Reyes family," he says. Anna hugs him and says, "Kevin! Merry Christmas."
          After embracing everyone and giving Harper and Lily honorary gifts, Kevin prepares to leave for Chicago with his family. "I won't forget all of you. Trust me," he promises. As he heads off to go back to his family to depart for Chicago, Ed Sheeran's "Merry Christmas" plays as the ending song to the story.
          
          So, what do you think? Do you like it? Because I think it's a potential future crossover story for you to do.

To make up for a food fight that disrupted a high school Christmas bake sale before Anna's bachelorette party, Kevin joins Harper, Lily, and their friends to help with a new one at Sunset Ridge High School. Kevin reminds everyone, “The best prize that life can offer is working hard at work worth doing.”
          However, the festive mood is shattered on Christmas Eve when the Wet/Sticky Bandits, Harry and Marv, arrive in Los Angeles after escaping from another prison riot. They plan to rob a charity store, but Kevin spots them and manages to escape. He finds an abandoned hotel and recruits Harper, Lily, and their friends to help set traps. After setting the traps, they go to the charity store to confront Harry and Marv. Kevin puts marbles on the pavement, and as the bandits chase him and the teens, they slip and fall hard. They lead the bandits to the hotel, where the duo falls victim to the elaborate traps once again.
          After the bandits have endured all of the traps, Kevin escapes the hotel and leads Harry and Marv on a chase to Echo Park. He draws them away from the teens, demonstrating loyalty and selflessness. Cornering Kevin, the bandits are ready to end him for good when police arrive, alerted by Harper and her friends with evidence of the robbery. Harry and Marv are arrested, and Kevin is reunited with his new friends.

Kevin spends time with Anna at her job at Capitol Records. Anna tells Kevin about giving up performing when she was pregnant with Harper, and how she wrote the song "You're My Baby" for her daughter. She also shares the story of her and Harper performing the song together at Ella's concert before her wedding. Anna says, "Being Harper’s mom, Kevin, has been the rock n roll adventure of a lifetime. I’d choose her every time." Kevin is also impressed by Eric's devotion to Lily and his restaurant, though he shares Eric's anxiety about being a parent. Eric says, "Lily is the most important person in my life, Kevin. And I still worry to this day of losing her and messing up as a parent. So I always have to put her first." Kevin also enjoys hearing Tess's stories from her podcast therapist job and witnessing her happy marriage with Ryan.
          Kevin's holiday becomes a fun-filled Los Angeles experience. He takes surfing lessons from 15-year-old Harper and her high school friends (including Jai, Athena, Jett, Jade, and Julian) and gets fashion tips from 15-year-old Lily and her friends. Kevin offers them wise advice, reminiscent of his interactions with Old Man Marley and the Pigeon Lady. As he gets to know Lily better, he expresses sorrow over the loss of her mother, but happiness that she and Eric have found a loving new family with the Colemans. Kevin tells Lily, “You and your dad being here in LA with the Colemans is exactly what you need, Lily.” Anna adds, "I know what you mean, Kevin. I also know family isn't always easy, but family is everything."

The Family/Comedy/Holiday starts off Two months after Anna Coleman and Eric Reyes' wedding, which united their blended family, and one year after Kevin McCallister's ordeal in New York, the Coleman-Reyes family is enjoying life in Los Angeles. Anna is a successful musical producer and manager at Capitol Records, while Eric thrives as a chef at his restaurant, Lily's, named after his beloved daughter. Meanwhile, Kevin's family once again embarks on a holiday trip to Paris to visit Uncle Rob and Aunt Georgette. However, an airport mishap leads to 11-year-old Kevin getting separated from his family for the third time, landing him alone in sunny Los Angeles.
          Settling into a luxurious suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Kevin begins exploring his surroundings, soon crossing paths with the blended Coleman-Reyes family and their circle. Kevin quickly bonds with everyone, including Anna's younger brother, 29-year-old Harry Coleman, and Eric's parents. He shares the wild tales of his previous two holidays alone, earning both amusement and sympathy.
