Hi everyone, my friends got into ToC but can't afford it. They are some of the most supportive, amazing, trustworthy, kind and just overly important people to me. I would love to help them like how they helped me.
From where I live, the total costs (for flights-to and from-, accomodation, registration, food, etc) would be around $6,000 AUD (around $3,800 USD or $3,000 GBP) per person. The competition is in less than 2 months and they have been dreaming to go, but it is obviously not cheap. Our school is not going to support them (they might not have the budget, but they haven’t given a reason on why they won’t), regardless of the fact that they are representing our school and my friends have only just sent out emails to the government to see if they can support them.
It would mean the world to Ash, Eliza and Emily if you could help me support them as they have for me. This is one of their last years being able to do WSC and I know how much they have been wishing to get to Yale.
They have opened a GoFundMe and it would mean so much if you could help them reach their goal. I have always believed in paying the kindness forward, and I want to help them achieve their goal and (hopefully) get them to be the overall winners of WSC 2023. It’s fine if you don’t/can’t contribute, but it would help so much if you can pass this on/share this with other people and share it.
