Well, it’s been quite a journey since I first started writing The World As I See. The first few chapters were penned back in 2020, followed by a few more in 2021, and then, well, life happened, got married to a wonderful lady, who is also the love of my life and that person also inspired to write again, truly they say a lady is what ruins or what creates it into something beautiful. I went on a long hiatus, stepping away from this world and these characters for far longer than I ever intended.
But here we are, in 2025, and I’ve finally returned to the story that’s been quietly living in the back of my mind all these years.
During my time away, I spent a lot of time thinking about the narrative, the characters, and the journey I wanted to create. I reflected on the emotional layers of Amara's story and explored new directions for the plot. While I wasn’t actively writing, I was rebuilding the foundation beneath the surface, crafting deeper character arcs, introducing subtle shifts in the timeline, and expanding the world itself to make the mystery even more immersive.
Now, as I step back into Amara’s world, I’m more excited than ever to finally see this story through to its end.
To those of you who’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for your patience and for sticking around. And to the new readers joining along the way—welcome! I hope you find yourselves just as intrigued and connected to this story as I have been while writing it.
So, here’s to second chances, mysterious timelines, and unraveling the threads of fate.
