I love any story that's told well, but I have a soft spot for tales that offer a shiver or two. Looking for a chill? You'll find plenty to frighten you here. Not big on getting  goosebumps? That's all right, too, as long as you don't mind stories that go to some dark places. I believe in putting characters before scares, because horror - like any other genre - only works if the people on the page are human and you care about them. So go ahead. Have a peek . . .
