Hello. I'm Ashleigh Wilkes. My books were plagarised, I deleted my account and am back after a long break.

I was a reader long before I became a writer. I started writing my first book, Karma, because I was appalled at the deluge of weak women characters in the majority of books here, and the way in which these "heroines" were portrayed. They were "too kind", too quick to forgive, too easy to manipulate, too ready to put up with degradation, humiliation and abuse, so bewilderingly shallow that they were ready to overlook all the humiliating acts they had suffered at the hands of these despicable, cheating, male protagonists --- monsters beneath the guise of their "Greek-Godlike" looks and cocky smirks.

A woman, even a fictional character, is strong, brave and beautiful, and she deserves fidelity, loyalty and respect. These fictional spineless creatures were caricatures, and an affront to real women everywhere. I started writing feverishly because of my fury. I had to vent my frustration in words.

          Do check out my works.

@AshleighWilkes2222 I loved the book Karma as is wasn't the normal cliche book were male lead cheats on female lead, female lead runs off and builds a new life and is supposed to be a stronger, better woman, but then ends up forgiving and getting back with the gross male lead who probably slept with thier sister or best friend, but omg he is suddenly a changed man and can't live without the female lead. Like dude should of figured that out before he stuck his dick in someone else. Or the other books where cliche female lead gets accused of cheating where she gets divorced and kicked out, years later he finds out oh no she was innocent the entire time

The worst kind of stories for me and the ones with rape and abuse in then and writer make it seem like it's something normal or forgivable, when it's the most dispicable act you can ever inflict on a female, they should be rotting in jail not living happy ever after. I feel that young woman can get totally minpulate into thinking that kind of behavior is okay and get into a relationship with a male like that because they read that it's normal and dont reach out for help etc.

Books can be a young womans of man's first introductions into what real realationships are like, I feel that some of these books are portraying that cheating, rape and abuse are all forgivable acts
