Small Question, ignore if needed
I have this Music Teacher who is really big on God; he's a Christian. I am also a Christian so i don't mind that fact. My problem is that every other night he texts me these bible verses, some biblical arguments, voice notes, links etc. Now I'm a minor and he's probably like 30 something years old. I don't reply, bring it up or encourage this behaviour, especially since he is off a different denomination and therefore has a few different beliefs from me, one being the fact that I don't pray out loud.
I'm in the choir which he is the director for, but I wouldn't say we have a close relationship or nth. At first i was fine cus like he's just spreading the word and stuff, he does this in our classes too, but its the same things over and over again. And not to throw any shade, but he barely comes to our classes and when he does half of it is just him preaching and teaching. I don't care about that, but i'm gonna care when I'm not being taught anything about the lesson were supposed to be having, and he's just talking about the same things over and over again.
Back on topic, I'm very uncomfortable with it because I don't like the fact that he is texting me as his student. I don't wanna call him out and seem rude especially since i'm also Christian, but when I mentioned it to my guardian she just brushed it off and said it wasn't harassment and he's just spreading the word.
Just let me know, Am I over reacting and I should calm down, or is this actually harassment?
