Sneak-peak of Chapter 8 of Destined ChildrenQuinn's P.O.V
The big behemoth pounded his chest and began to charge us...I had to think...what to do...what to do....then...an idea popped into my head..I jumped onto Dax's back.
Dax:"What the-?!-"
Quinn:"Just trust me! Fly up!"
Y/n and Keyaun dodged as me and Dax flew up, and thankfully...just in time too...cuz Gorgor had just landed where we were.
Y/n:"WOAH!"
Keyaun:"Chill out big guy!!"
He dispersed the smoke and looked up at us.
Gorgor:"Only cowards run!"
Dax:"Heh, who's running?"
We flew around dodging his attacks looking for an opening, the big guy was kinda slow, but...Dax had me on his back, he couldn't fly as fast as he normally could...
Dax:"Got a plan, Quinn?"
Quinn:"Here's the strat, you use Frost Hammer, and I'll infuse some of my energy with it! Therefore, we'll overpower him, and win!"
Dax:"Yeah, that could work, just one problem with that Quinn."
Quinn:"What?"
Dax:"YOU'LL BE KNOCKED OUT! You can't control that power yet!"
Quinn:"I'll use a little bit, so much that I'll probably be worn out, but knocked out..."
Dax:"I don't know about this Quinn..."
Quinn:"It's okay...just trust me..."
Dax:"If...you say so..."
