          I'm sorry for disappointing you all with another useless post, but great news I know when my exams will finish; 31st October. So yes expect an update in November :D I definitely won't be updating as weekly as before since I have yet to catch up with writing, but well better late than never! 
          
          AND THANK YOU! I get notifications each time I get a new follower, and I think it would be unfair if I started saying a personal thank you to each one now so I will just say a great THANK YOU for reading this post :) You guys have made my day~!

          I'm writing this to all my sweet followers and anyone who has read Kingdom of the Rose. I. Love. You. All. Checking back on the page and seeing 5000 reads has made me shed tears of joy, and that is both a literal and a metaphorical expression. Your support has made me continue pursuing this passion of mine, and you have no idea how much I wish to give each one of you a giant bear-hug. Every vote makes me smile, and every comment makes me giggle. Sincerely and honestly.
          
          I am very sorry that I have not updated in months; I'm on my last year of high school and my big national exams coming up, so I hope you understand. I will definitely do a lot of writing in the holidays, and I hope next year writing would resume as per regular, but there are no promises. But I am determined to finish this trilogy, for sure.
          
          Thank you so much for bearing with me, I know how annoying waiting for an update can be... and in attempt of sharing a bit of the love and happiness I feel like I am receiving, here's a little something.....

          The second book will be called 'Keys to the Past', which gives you a bit of a hint about how the story will proceed. The Ark Cross war itself is a small part of a bigger plan involving Cresceran history. Perhaps it's a fantasy-cliche plot with saving humanity, but trust me a lot of small things will be revealed, and there is a fair amount of reason this time why the main characters are main characters (there is a logical realistic reason behind this, which will be further enlightened upon in Book III). I mean, there is a fair enough debate why most stories happen to chance upon the right people being at the right place and at the right time. This time, there is a good enough reason.
          
          With that, I bid you all a good farewell, and a giant thank you. You are all wonderful people who have made my life so much better.

A special secret to all you followers, I have actually finished KoR's first book. I just choose to upload and edit a chapter once a week because I am on hiatus writing the second one as I am really busy this year. I hope you all understand. <3
