I actually used to be more online in Wattpad, searching and reading books everyday, all day long. But then that update came, that update where 50 books and 6 countries, including mine, were chosen for a program that aims to help writers gain money by requiring you to pay on every chapter of their book. Of course I couldn’t pay, reading in the internet existed so you could avoid buying expensive hard bound books. Months passed and more books and countries were included, I saw one of the books I already finished reading a few months ago, now with a price tag. This made me both happy and sad, happy since I had read it before and sad since I wouldn’t be able to reread it again and other readers who don’t have money will not be able to read such a masterpiece. Wattpad was meant to be a free platform for writers and readers, but now it is becoming no different than an e-book market. This is just my opinion anyways and thanks for reading through the whole thing.
