Kareem leaned back up, realizing she wasn't leaving. "Oh," he muttered. She must not have been told, he figured. "Well, you see," he let out, before scratching his head. "You are able to make your opponent experience death, yet nothing you do will actually kill off your opponent." Reaching his arm back, he pulled a sheet off of his desk, and held it up to her, a sheet depicting a form of helmet with wires attached to the back end.
"When you participate, you put on this helmet, which will connect you to my own form of virtual world. When immersed, you will pretty much be inside of a game, however it reflects a real life combat encounter very closely. When both you and your opponent connect, you fight out your match, and then when one of you gets knocked out, forced into submission, or get killed, your avatar takes all the punishment, rather than you're real body. However, you will feel every strike and cut done to your avatar."
Taking a single potato chip out of the bag, he explained, "So, you're pretty much allowed to cut, stab, punch, strangle, eviscerate, disembowel, or decapitate your opponent, but when the match is over no one has the physical scars or deaths to show for it."
