Today is a sad day for liberty, for freedom, and for America. I am devastated and fearful. This is not how we should wake up on the day after an election. We should not be afraid of the future or our new leader.

I don't want your stupid marketing emails and I don't want your free coins, @Wattpad. I wish I could block all messages from Wattpad, I don't care because you don't give a flying crap about users. If you did, you'd listen to us.

Two more days and Wattpad will remove our ability to communicate privately. Why does this now feel like a Communist (dictatorship maybe?) state? They control how we communicate and the PMs are for their 'news' only. @Wattpad, way to crush creativity here. No more collaboration with others. No one is going to discuss new projects on their message board for fear someone might steal their ideas. You want users to be safe but you are going to force users off this site to seek other ways to communicate with one another to discuss projects and even have a friendly conversation without the entire world watching. Are we not entitled to some privacy? Oh wait, no because you're a dictatorship now and we are just lowly citizens you must control for 'our own good'. You've destroyed this site slowly and steadily. I miss much of the old Wattpad that was in place when I joined in 2012. Because of how things have deteriorated, my accounts are barely active, there's not a lot of point to the site anymore. Most of the friends I had left after the chat boards were removed. It's sad to see a site that had such potential implode.

The hell @Wattpad? Why are you taking away the private message feature? That's ridiculous! You've been trying for years now to turn this writing site into a social media site and you're ditching the one major feature all social media has, the ability for users to communicate privately so their messages aren't shown off to every user on the site. Many of the graphic designers here deliver their graphics via a link through private message. How do they deliver graphics now? You don't allow outside links to be posted anywhere else. This is your most ridiculous decision yet. Oh but, you aren't getting rid of it completely, no, you're saving it so just your official accounts can send us crap we don't want or care about. Many of the communities on here use the PM to send links to their servers on Discord for those that join the group, they don't want the entirety of Wattpad to have the link, just their members, to prevent mass confusion. You also only allow us to post three messages a day on our message board, how do you expect people to communicate if you use up your posts for the day? How can you not realize what a dumb decision this is? LEAVE THE PRIVATE MESSAGE FEATURE ALONE!

          I haven't been on much, new job is keeping me busy. I miss making graphics and writing there's a lot less time now but gotta make money. :)
