I'm still trying to fight KDP but they've stopped responding, so odds are I'm never getting the account back. I've scoured the KDP forums and everyone's best guess is that my subtitles were to blame.
My subtitles were apparently too generic. IE: "A Werewolf Mystery" or "A Supernatural Drama". These are considered mismatched, and "A Gay Retelling of A Tale as Old As Time" can be considered keyword stuffing. Thus the 'manipulation of services' accusation. This is just a guess though, because KDP doesn't elaborate on a termination.
So...I'm looking into IngramSparks next. I'll have to update my covers, remove the subtitles, and be very careful of my descriptions. But I'm going to do it more professionally this time.
Without KDP, I'll have to buy ISBNs before publishing the books again, and will look into setting up a newsletter once I get back into writing.
I'm going to work on finishing up "Till Death Do Us Part" soon. I haven't updated in a while but that'll be fixed.

Whelp. Amazon got back and said that they are sticking by their decision to permanently deactivate my KDP account. Their excuse only says "A review of your account found activities trying to manipulate our services. ". No idea what that means.

There’s an author on inkitt who also has her own website where she sells books using https://bookfunnel.com. I used it once and it was user friendly, worked well. Maybe you should check it out.

By any chance, have you removed some of your stories from wattpad? I’ve mostly moved over to a different platform, but every year I end up coming back to wattpad to read some of my favorites, and there’s one that I can’t find that I could’ve sworn you wrote

Unfortunately, Amazon has terminated my KDP account and my printed books are no longer available to purchase. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'll be working with Amazon to figure out why this has happened.

@crowekitai Yeah, sorry about that! I've heard that KDP likes to suddenly terminate accounts, but I was so careful with my books that I didn't expect it to happen to mine. I'm still waiting for them to finish reviewing my account to let me know if they'll restore it or not.
