I wanted to say something very important to me... It is one thing to throw out of the Oscar race a movie that makes no sense, but to throw out a historical movie made after true events, things that people went through, just to cover up the truth is rude. Many Serbs were killed in camps in the Second World War, children were killed, newborns were killed, mothers were killed ... There is no sense in throwing out such a historical movie from the Oscar race. I'm not angry because the movie was kicked out of the Oscar race, no, I'm angry because it was kicked out for very stupid reasons. I'm just watching the movie "Dara of Jasenovac" and I'm very upset, but the point of the movie is to show the events as they were without any embellishment ... I admit, the movie is not for everyone, it is very shocking. But it deserves to stay in the Oscar race and I think throwing this movie out of it is one big, big injustice

@Dark_Moonlight_Girl the actors were amazing and Biljana brought the story to us at such a young age with such passion. My great grandmother and her mom were in a camp close to Jasenovac, they were sent to Germany and came back to Serbia. My great grandmother was alive till 2013 when she died at the age of 82. While I watched the movie, I realized that she and her mom had to go through that and many worse things. I felt bad that I wasn't able to help them because I wasn't even born, but just the thought that she had to go through that pain and suffer just to come back hurt me like hell. I hope that some important people and famous people recall to the fact that movie isn't in the Oscar race. I hope that they talk about the things Croatian ustaše did to Orthodox Serbs, Muslim Bosnians, Roma people and Jews. I hope that our people didn't die for nothing and that their memorie will not just live in Serbia but in the whole world.
