Serene thunder is literally very underrated *disappointed as hell* :(

I just finished reading serene thunder and I don't know what but I am not feeling good I am missing it I don't know if you are getting my words or not but broo 

Blood Melody is out.

"Run" 
          
          His baritone whisper unclenched her tight-squeezed eyelids, revealing her big beautiful amber eyes drenched with tears.
          
          "Run away from me Laura" 
          
          He rasped deeply with a shade of menace in his tone. A throb of shivers ignited through her spine at how he took her name in a threat. 
          
          Her honey gold hues stared at his storm cloud gray orbs horrified by his words. 
          
          "Run away from me with my son"
          
          She flinched in her place, heeding him speak about her son. His dark glower made her squirm as she pressed her dainty frame more into the wall in absolute fright, attempting to abscond his sinister gaze. 
          
          "Because I will find you" 
          
          Her glossy orbs widened in terror, and a loud hiccup left her rose lips as his vicious husky voice prevailed. 
          
          He took a step forward, enclosing the small distance between them. His both hands inside his pockets, he let his gaze waver all over her tearful face.
          
          His immediate closeness burnt her and he didn't even touch her. His smell became so strong that she ceased breathing.
          
          The next words from him pulled the earth beneath her feet.
          
          "And I will make sure you regret it"

Just completed your only Master work Serene Thunder and it was so full of every emotions and I felt after so long that I have read a fulfilling story♡ 
          However author, I have a question.. Did Layla ever got to achieve her goal to become independent and do job??
