Hi everyone, and first of all thank you for visiting my page. 
My name is Darci-Lee, I'm a young author from the land of white cloud: New Zealand. 

I've been writing since I was six, and I've been a professional author since I was fifteen. I use my writing as a way to challenge what’s possible in this world, and create my own little haven to escape from reality. 

I try not to label my writing, or choose just one genre of writing, because my spectrum is so extensive. 
I have so far written novels in four genres, and some stories I've written defy genres: those genres include Fantasy horror, teen drama, historical horror and blatant sci-fi. 

I focus solely on my characters, developing them to such an extent that they speak for themselves, think for themselves and even defy me when I try to put them into a scene that they don’t wanna do. 
Yes, my characters are that stubborn. 

well I am pretty out there when it comes to my novels and opinions, but i like to think that I am very friendly and open to anyone who reads my stories, and in turn to anyone’s stories that you want me to read.
