I rewrote chapter thirteen because I got some amazing advice on how to improve it (thanks noelle!) It's still no where close to being done, but I'm happy enough to move onto the next chapter. Probably not today though. Hope you're still hanging out till the next chapter.
I am still working on If I Had Wings to Fly, I am just giving it some room to breathe, while I plot the next major portion of the novel. I'm just taking a break, so when I come back I'll have just as many ideas, and excitement for it moving forward.
Chapter 13 is out!!! This is probably the most exciting chapter I've written so far. Please go check it out! I'm so excited!!!
I know that I need to edit... But do I want too? No, not really. Maybe next time?
My plan is to publish chapter 12, then go back and re-edit 1-12 all over again, so that I can work out some things I don't like in the first few chapters... That's my game plan for the next couple of weeks.
I had to take a break because I moved, but I'm back now! I've missed this trusty keyboard.
The first 500 words are the hardest, but if you can get past it, then you'll be surprised how easily the next 500 come.
It is snowing where I live, and it's tempting for me to stay at my computer all day, so I can periodically gaze outside and watch it fall. Does it snow where you live? I love the snow. I just love how empty the winter is. It's not sad... it's just quiet. If anyone can capture that feeling in their writing I will gladly read it.
Can anyone guess what helped Birdie see in the dark? If anyone guesses right, I'll give them a follow.
