Just a sec whilst I contemplate...

Short story or sob story? Short story or sob story? Which to go with? Hmmmmmmm.

Ok here goes. Crack open the Violin case folks, sob story it is.

Im a father of 6 (yeah, 6) that never thought I'd be considering being a writer, let alone have an idea that I thought would spark interest. I'll let you guys be the judges.

In 2011 whilst working in Planning for a local authority I fell ill with an immune disease. A month before my 30th actually (thanks mother nature for my lovely birthday gift). If any of you watch Greys Anatomy you'll probably know all about immune diseases, apparently their on there a lot.

Unlike most that have my rare illness that go into remission within 2 years or so, my illness decided to take hold of me and, well lets just say its still holding as the gift that keeps giving.

I had to give up work and try to fight it, but due to financial reasons I was forced back to work in 2016 when I wasn't anywhere near ready. As a result of going back to work too soon my lower back went a skew on me. That summer I had spinal surgery but the damage was done.

Now I walk with a limp like an old school pimp, pffttt. More like an old fart with a crutch. 'Rock and roll' I hear you say (thats if anyones actually read this lol).

When I fell ill in 2011, I had 2 kids from a previous marriage or 'first failed experiment' as I like to call it. Then I met my wife Hayley (experiment 2.0) and she made use of my only fully functioning body part to add 4 more kids to the mix.

Now I find myself trying to stay sane whilst defying the brainwashing kids tv. Seriously though, kids tv, oofff.
