Hello everyone, I know it's been a long while, and I apologize, life really doesn't want me writing.
          But I'm forcing it to make an exception this time, because I need to went about something.
          During summer, I have gotten into a game series called Class of 09. It was drastically different compared to the type of media I've been absorbing up until that point, and I got hooked instantly.
          Well, today, Class of 09: The FlipSide released, and let me tell you, it was a massive letdown. Don't get me wrong, the game still had the writing quality of the last two games, that's not the point.
          The point is that in FlipSide, you play as Jecka, the friend of the prevoius two game's protagonist, Nicole. This perspective change is supposed to be a showcase of what Nicloe is like from a different perspective. And the game accomplishes that perfectly.
          The issue that I, and a majority of the fanbase has, is that the game only has 5 endings, compared to the first one's 15 and the second one's 8, and all 5 of those endings are horrible. When you got to play as Nicole in the last 2 games, yoou got to have atleast 1 good ending, even if the means you got it by were repulsive. Jecka doesn't get a single good ending. She got done dirty in this game, I don't even have the words to describe it without spoilers.
          And what's worse is the kind of message this sends to the audience. Unlike Nicole, who's a genunie sociopath, Jecka actually cares about other people, and tries to make something of her life. But the game portrays that struggle as somehting meaningless, as Jecka gets traumatized and destroyed in more gruesome ways in each of her endings. Meanwhile Nicole, who doesn't care about other people due to her condition, hets to have a realtively good life, which she gains by fucking over everyone in her path, even Jecka herself in some routes.
          Not only do I find this incredibly dissapointing, but also really disheartening.

I have recently read the news about James Earl Jones's passing.
          I am absolutley devastated.
          We lost another legend on this day, and his loss is gonna leave a hole that will never be filled.
          Let us all take a moment to remember him for the great man he was, and for the impact he had on entertainment media.
          May he Rest In Peace.
