You could add a bit of drama by making  America's nightmare becomes a reality but with rebels trying to kidnap Astra. But America, Maxon,and Aspen stop there plan. It could be also that Kriss is part of the rebels trying to kidnap Astra because she is trying to hurt Maxon for not choosing her and she hates America for always having Maxon's heart. Have something to do with Kota America's elder brother he is the black sheep of the family coming to the castle without been invited. You could also have something to do with Daphene she is still in love with Maxon although he doesn't love her.  Hope that is of some help if I think of anything else I will let you know.
