Thank you to all the wonderful Wattpad readers who have been following along as I serialize my Pigeon Grove series novella, "Fly Away Home". A special shout out to Natalie (@natmarieauthor), Lainey (@LaineyH111), and Simonne (@writeofherlife) for all your words of encouragement and kind thoughts as we followed Claire together along her journey. Your input and time spent together through a shared story means so much to me <3

I have plans to post the final two sections tomorrow, so take some time to catch up (if you'd like) and prepare for the final installment of "Fly Away Home" on Wednesday morning :)

Over the next 2-3 weeks, I invite you to follow along with me as I share Claire Perkins' story and her discovery of Pigeon Grove's heartbeat in "Fly Away Home". I have ambitious plans to post a new chapter daily, but it may leak to once every other day depending upon my other commitments.

For those of you who have read the first novel in my Pigeon Grove series, "Between the Lines", this is a prequel to Mason and Sophie's story, taking place 30+ years in the past. But as you'll see, no matter the time, Pigeon Grove always finds a way to work its magic.

It may be a sleepy, small, and southern mountain town, but it has a unique charm that awakens romance in even the most hesitant heart. I hope you enjoy your visit to Pigeon Grove and, like Claire, discover what it truly means to come home.

DaveCenker

@writeofherlife Hey, Simonne! Great to hear from you again, and so glad you'll be joining Claire on her journey! I hope you enjoy your second visit to Pigeon Grove :)

I've been silent on Wattpad for several months after my focus shifted to the publication of my second novel, "Between the Lines". As the first book in my Pigeon Grove series, I had begun working on planning the second book in that series, "Splendid Chaos", when an idea greeted me with some of that welcome serendipity I enjoy running across as an author.

My writing time has since shifted to working on a prequel for the Pigeon Grove series. It's an introduction to the beloved fictional North Georgia town, 30 years before Mason & Sophie's story takes place. It follows the journey of Claire Perkins, owner of the Fly Away Home B&B in town. Aptly named, this novella will be titled "Fly Away Home" and will be free, no strings attached. I have tentative plans to serialize it, here on Wattpad, after my first draft is complete, if there is interest from others in reading it.

A penny for your thoughts... is this something that's appealing to all Wattpad readers out there? ;)

DaveCenker

@simonne-m Hey, Simonne! Great to hear from you! I understand you completely on the inspiration striking thing. Those visits from the creative muse are a tricky thing to manage sometimes, but she always finds her way back around, keep the faith ;)

@HeatherGraceStewart Thanks, Heather! It actually begins with the story of "Homecoming" and continues on with Claire's story from there. I'm looking forward to sharing it here once I get that first draft written and can work on those first round of personal edits as I serialize the second draft here :)

@DaveCenker Dave!!! Hello again! You can count me in! (I, too, have been silent on here. Sometimes inspiration strikes and sometimes it... doesn't.)

Ahead of schedule for my planned publication process, I have removed all but the first two chapters of my second novel, "Between the Lines", from Wattpad. With that being said, if you have been reading it and would like a free digital copy as a member of my advance review team, please message me before Thursday, December 27, 2018 and I will be happy to add you to the list. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and encourage me. Mason & Sophie thank you as well, for following them along on their journey :-)

DaveCenker

Good morning, fellow Wattpad readers!

As I near publication of my second novel in Spring 2019, I will be unpublishing all but the first two chapters of "Between the Lines" on December 31, 2018.

With that being said, I have good news for you! If you'd like to become a member of my advance review team and receive a free digital copy of the final edited manuscript, to read and review before anyone else, message me with your email address before Monday morning, December 17.

Thank you, as always, to everyone who has read, supported, and commented along with me as I wrote Mason & Sophie's story. I can't wait to share the emotions inside it with you!

Good morning, Wattpad readers. After some time off, my sophomore novel is officially in the editing stage. I invite you to follow along with Mason Shaw and Sophie Holland as I look forward to sharing their story with you, "Between the Lines" :-)

DaveCenker

Just a reminder that all but the first four chapters of "Second Chance" will be removed on May 1 per publishing restrictions. If you are in the process of reading and will not finish before then, please message me for options to continue. Or, you know, you are also more than welcome to visit my Amazon author page to get your own copy with a personal Q&A interview in the back ;-)

Also, my collection of 15 flash fiction stories, "Caffeine for the Soul" will be removed from Wattpad (except for the first two) on the same date, May 1. However, it is already available in PDF, Epub, and Mobi format on my website when you join my author community (right on the front page, www.davecenker.com). You'll also receive exclusive insights and behind the scenes peeks at yours truly if you join us there :-)

Thank you so much for all the reads and comments on all my work. It means so much to me, and I look forward to sharing the development of my next novel, "Between the Lines" with you in the coming weeks!

DaveCenker

To my cherished readers of "Second Chance" and "Caffeine for the Soul" ~ Due to publication restrictions, I will be removing all but the first four chapters of "Second Chance" and all but the first two stories in "Caffeine for the Soul" on or before May 1, 2018. If you are in the process of reading either or both and don't think you'll be finished reading before that date, please send me a message ;-)

That's the not-so-good news from a reader's perspective. But, there is some good news as well! I will *soon* (after some author house-cleaning activities) share the first round of edits on my next novel, "Between the Lines", with you right here on Wattpad. I invite you to visit my website and join our community where I'll be sharing my progress, seeking input, and giving a bit of backstory on the cast of characters with members along the way.

Plus, you'll receive a complete published PDF version of "Caffeine for the Soul" as well (.ePub and .mobi versions available upon request) :-)

Thank you, for reading, and for giving me the opportunity to share a cup of caffeine for the soul with you! I appreciate it more than you know :-)

DaveCenker

@euskoski Thank you so much, Elaine! Between you and Simonne, I was able to stay on track with my final edits to "Second Chance" and I truly appreciate your support and encouragement along the way. And, I look forward to sharing my next WIP with you in the not-too-distant future :-) Have a wonderful weekend!
