Great news, #Sadistas! I have officially entered The Wattys 2026 with two stories in hand: Between Dreams and Mornings and You and I Under the Parols of Sta. Cruz.

Both are English stories that I recently wrote — Between Dreams and Mornings in June 2026 and You and I Under the Parols of Sta. Cruz in December 2025. This marks my first time joining The Wattys with English entries after my previous attempt with Filipino stories back in 2022.

I am currently working hard to finish my ongoing stories, Some Nights in Baguio and The School by the Mountain and the Sea. If time allows, I also hope to revisit and revise Magnificat and Beneath the Lenses so they can finally return and become available for reading again.

Thank you for staying with me through every story, every revision, and every journey I have taken as a writer. Your continued support means more than words can express. Thank you for still being here.

Hello, #Sadistas! I just finished editing my latest work this year, Between Dreams and Mornings!

This story has been a deeply personal and emotional journey to write. It explores dreams, longing, love, loss, and the painful moments when the worlds we create inside our minds become more comforting than the reality we return to.

I hope you’ll join Joshua Salamero as he walks between dreams and reality, where forgotten myths, impossible wishes, and unanswered emotions collide. Thank you for continuing to support my stories and for giving my characters a place to exist. I can’t wait to share this one with you.

Hello there! It's your Mr. Sadista, leaving you all a heartfelt message.

A while ago, I posted a slideshow on TikTok featuring Sarah Geronimo's Ikot-Ikot. It was about the person who inspired some of the stories I've written over the years. I honestly didn't expect it to reach so many people, but it did—and because of that, many of you found your way to this Wattpad account, followed me, and added my stories to your reading lists.

I just want to say thank you. I've been writing for exactly six years now, and this is the first time I've experienced this kind of support since my Senior High School days. Seeing new readers discover my stories, leave votes, and give my works a chance means more to me than I can put into words.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking a chance on my stories. I hope they make you feel something, stay with you long after you've finished reading, and become journeys worth remembering.

Happy reading, and welcome to my little corner here in Wattpad.

Hello there, #Sadistas! I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve completed a short novel just before 2025 ends: You and I Under the Parols of Sta. Cruz, a story I poured my heart into during our long writing break last November.

This one is different from my previous works. It’s a BL that dives into heavier, more serious themes—tackling both physical and emotional abuse, and exploring how its survivors find the strength to heal and reclaim their lives. The idea first came to me after watching the Japanese BL series Our Youth, adapted from the original Korean manhwa of the same title. I drew inspiration from both, but I wanted to craft a story that reflects the Filipino experience, grounded in our own streets, smells, and lights.

Even though the story is written in English—I’ve shifted my medium from Filipino—I hope it still reaches Filipino readers who might see themselves in Elian and Rafe. I hope it reminds them that even after the deepest hurt, there is a path to healing, to finding light, and to discovering people who will truly value their hearts and souls. This story is for anyone who has ever felt lost, unseen, or broken, but still dares to hope for love, safety, and belonging.

Hello, this is DaveHersonElas21 and I am now back into writing again! I'm here to continue revising Magnificat and Rewrite Beneath the Lenses completely. I am planning to translate Beneath the Lenses to English for better leverage since I now switched my medium from Filipino to English. The new chapters will come by November-December, the first anniversary of the book. And expected to be done at January. Don't worry, I would occasionally update from time-to-time, and I would ensure to do this all within those months. Thanks!

Hello there, #Sadistas! I just had an urgent decision to postpone writing Beneath the Lenses to pave way into publishing my 2nd English book and probably the most daring that I’ve written so far titled, “Magnificat” that will be released (full story already) on June 22, 2025.

After releasing Magnificat, I’ll be writing another concept novel about two boys, surviving so it’ll probably delay BTL again. After that, I’ll revise Our College Takeaway, so that I can join it on the Wattys this year. Dito ko na siguro isasabay ’yong updates ng BTL kung kakayanin ko pa kasi busy na rin schedule ko this month, but don’t worry. The updates will presumably continue from this month to the month of August.

Meanwhile, enjoy reading Magnificat na lang muna kapag na-release ko ka siya sa June 22! Promise, hindi kayo magsisising basahin ’yon, hahaha! Sigii, ’yon lang!
