Hey all...nominations are now open for the Aurora Awards, Canada's premier awards for science fiction and fantasy writing, and my novel, "The Great Sky", is eligible this year for "Best Young Adult Novel". Note that, to nominate and vote, you'll have to pay $10 Canadian to join the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Foundation, but in exchange you get not just the entirety of "The Great Sky" in the voting package (if it's nominated!) but also a BUNCH of other awesome science fiction and fantasy novels, short stories, novellas, etc.--the best of Canadian speculative fiction writing, and all for just ten bucks!
