David Anderson grew up in a small town in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. Fortunately the town had a public library where he borrowed all the adventure and thriller novels he could find. He took a degree in philosophy and politics at Queens University, Belfast, followed by a postgraduate diploma in social studies. 

He came to Vancouver in 1991 and for several years owned a second-hand and antiquarian bookshop. Nowadays he runs an internet book business, though writing is taking up an increasing amount of his time. 

His short stories have been anthologised by the Wildside Press and in the print anthology 'Arrivals and Departures' published by CommuterLit. 'Earthly Powers' (Endeavour Press, 2014) is his first novel and he is hard at work on another.
