Hello fellow Wattpadders, 
My name is David! 
- I am a high school English teacher who teaches the more fun concepts of English (No grammar or Shakespeare here) 
-I have worked for an publishing company as an editor and done some ghostwriting during my youth. 
- I currently hold a M.A. in English literature, so the novel is a familiar friend to me 
-Despite the rumors my students pass around in the halls, I actually am very lazy and therefore never  actually penned a novel. 
-I teach subjects such as creative writing  and drama (again, not Shakespeare). 
-I find it insulting that creative writing isn't emphasized enough in English courses not only in Canada, but in the United States, my former home, as well. My philosophy is that it is impossible to fully appreciate the ability of literature to create new worlds without trying it out for yourself. 
-The community here is amazing, so full of bright, young writers. I intend to mainly help out those who are serious about writing fiction (no "vote for vote" from me). I will gladly provide some hopefully in-depth and helpful advice to you from my years of teaching this subject if you send me a simple private message.
