@tall_girl: Oh, thanks for letting me know about the Mermaid Island! Definitely going to start on that one. 
          I read this book, Monsterous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama. It explained that there were tribes underwater, at war and most of the males died in that, so only the females survived. But like I said, it's refreshing to read about the guys. :)

Hey! Where to start? Thank you for the comment on The Mermaid's Son, I really appreciate it! I know right? I'm not sure if they forget mermen on purpose cause it doesnt fit in with the idea of it but merpeople are just like us in the sense that there are male and female mermaids! How would there be mermaids in the first place!? but im not about to get into that topic of conversation!
