"Politics aren't personal"
It is personal when women across the nation cannot get access to reproductive health care. It is personal when the person you voted for and elected is a rapist, sexist, bigot, felon, who truly doesn't care about people. It is personal when families are torn apart because of deportation. It is personal when parents are terrified to send their children to school because of gun violence. It is personal to all the college students depending on federal aid. It is personal to the students with special needs and disabilities when they take funding from them. It is personal when people aren't allowed to be who they truly are.
This election showed people's true morals and values. It is heartbreaking to see many voting for a person who is going to take basic human rights way from people. My heart goes to those who will be negatively impacted, women, the lgbtq+ community minorities, victims of SA, and everyone else who's been damaged by the actions and words of such a hateful person.
