Hey everyone who follows me (AND MORE)! Just a little announcement/update.
I’ve been thinking about possibly moving over to AO3 and posting me fanfics over there. I’ve been using Wattpad for years (like since I was 12) and still genuinely love the platform, so this definitely is a shock to me to find out the new terms and conditions that helped build this platform to what it is now. It’s been a big part of my writing journey, and I’d still like to keep posting here as I'm lowkey dumb and hate using the tag system on AO# as its so confusing.
With some of the newer rules and changes Wattpad has introduced, though, I’m honestly not completely sure whether some of my fanfics could potentially fall under the new guidelines and be reported/removed. 😅 I’d rather be safe than sorry, especially with news stories that may contain darker themes.
So I’m still making up my mind about whether I’ll officially start moving everything over to AO3, or simply use it as a backup/second place to post. As I do not have an account on there yet and its seems to be a big waitlist for it, and I also wanted everyone's opinions on whether I post on both or just AO3 moving forward. As for original stories I still have my other account which I may or may not move the stuff to here and get rid of that one.
For now, nothing is changing! I’ll still be here on Wattpad and continuing to write. ❤️ I just wanted to let everyone know what I’ve been considering!
