My name is David, but I prefer Deacon, and I'm a graduate of Curtin University's BA in Mass Communication. I currently work as a radio journalist, but I've been involved in media in one capacity or another since 2012, included among my posts is lighting technician and news reader. My job keeps me busy but I make time to read and write poetry, novels and short stories, because while my head belongs to media, my heart has always belonged to literature.
